I have been a keen photographer for many years, having started with an ancient second hand Praktika SLR in the late 1970’s when exposure settings were mainly based on guesswork. After many years of mainly taking mainly holiday snaps, I decided to take photography a bit more seriously and joined LSAPS in 2016.
Since joining the club and seeing the work of other photographers, I have been encouraged to try out different genres and am now interested in landscapes, wildlife, portraits and creative photography. I have also been encouraged to enter external competitions and have achieved ABPE, DPAGB, EFIAP and PPSA accreditations.
