Liverpool Photowalk

On Sunday 19th January, a number of LSAPS members visited Liverpool waterfront on a club organised Photo Walk. The morning started off with a hard frost and clear sky, perfect for a Photo Walk you might think, however appearances can be deceptive.  By the time we set off for Liverpool, patchy fog had started to form. As we gathered in Liverpool we were confident the sun would burn the mist away and the temperature would slowly rise. Well you can but hope. Within 15 minutes 7 of the group made our way to a café in the Cunard Building for a hot drink and to warm up. The more intrepid wrapped up warm and headed off in search of the perfect image.

The mist lingered along the banks of the Mersey all day varying in intensity, never too dense, but just giving some atmosphere to our images, I hope. One of our party ascended to the viewing platform above the clock face on the Liver Building. Whilst a lift rose to the 15^th floor that still left over 100 stairs to climb. After about 4 hours we meet up back at the Car Park. Everybody seemed to have had an enjoyable day. I hope the images captured were worth the effort, the mist certainly made the task more difficult. I just hope we have better weather for the next Photo Walk.
