2nd Open Print Competition (2023/24)
The second Open Print competition of the season was judged on 21st December by Ian Whiston (DPAGB, EFIAP/p, FBPE, EPSA, Hon LCPU) from Crewe Photographic Society. Ian provided a brief and concise critique of each image, often commenting on the sharpness and point of focus. As it was close to Christmas, he was also rather generous with his scoring, holding back a large number of images.
The top scoring images are listed below. The featured image for this competition is appropriate for the time of year – Merry Christmas by Bill Breckenridge, which scored 20pts in the Advanced Group.
