L&CPU Print Folio Awards

The L&CPU are introducing a new awards scheme for Print Portfolios, that is open to any LSAPS photographer. A portfolio of prints can consist of between 4 and 20 prints that must follow a cohesive theme and be presented in a similar style. There is no requirement for a hanging plan, though the portfolio may be supported by a short statement of intent. On entry, the portfolio will initially be assessed as a complete body of work and may be rejected if it is not considered to form a cohesive group of images. However once the portfolio has been accepted, the images are scored individually by a panel of 5 judges, each scoring between 2 and 5 – with a 2 indicating some technical issues, and a 5 indicating a very good club print. The level of award achieved will be based on the number of prints entered and the average score – Level 1 (Credit) being for 4 prints averaging 15, up to Level 10 (Unobtainium) for 20 prints averaging 24.

The first assessment will take place on Sunday 15th of November 2026 at St Marys Parish Centre Social Club, Chorley – all entrants must attend to deliver and collect their prints. Registration and Entry is via the L&CPU Portal.

Unfortunately there is currently no link to more information on the L&CPU website, so anyone who is interested should speak to Carol Watson who has some paperwork.
