2nd Set Subject Competition (2024/25) – Street Photography
The 2nd Set Subject competition of the season on the theme of Street Photography was judged on 20th February. The judge for the evening was Steve Hitchen (EPAGB, AFIAP, BPE5*) who is a member of 3 clubs – Atherton & District PS, The Evolve Group and the sRGB Photo Group. This was a print competition and with fewer entries than we have seen recently, it made for a more relaxed evening of judging. Steve made a few comments about some images being ‘well seen’ and also suggested where some distractions could be cloned out, or at least toned down.
The top scoring images are listed below. The featured image for this competition is Where’s That Bus by Sheila Giles, which scored 20pts and which Steve selected as his favourite image on the night.
