John is a semi-retired freelance photographer who provided quite short, but entertaining comments on the entries. The second Open Print competition of the season was judged on 21st December by Ian Whiston (DPAGB, EFIAP/p, FBPE, EPSA, Hon LCPU) from Crewe Photographic Society. Ian provided a brief and concise critique of each image, often commenting on the sharpness and point of focus. As it was close to Christmas, he was also rather generous with his scoring, holding
