2026 L&CPU Individual Competition

The L&CPU Individual Competition will take place on 9th and 10th May. This competition is open to all club members and is free to enter, so it is an excellent opportunity to try out your images in an Exhibition style of competition. To encourage participation in competitions outside LSAPS, the L&CPU Individual competition contributes to our own LSAPS Photographer of the Year Awards.

There are 2 sections in the PDI competition (Open and Nature) and 3 sections in the Print competition (Colour, Mono and Nature). Individuals can enter up to 4 images in all sections except the PDI Open section, where you can enter up to 8 images. Images must not have been entered into any previous L&CPU Individual Competition.

Members can upload their images via a dedicated L&CPU Uploader which can be accessed from the Member’s Homepage under Other Activities and Reminders – all Print entries must be supported by a Digital copy. The uploader will close on 18th April and prints will be collected on 23rd and 30th April. Instructions for preparation of Prints and Digital images is on the Uploader.

The L&CPU entry for the PAGB Inter-Federation Championship, held in June each year, is selected from the print entries submitted to this competition. In addition, the content of the Folio boxes and the selection for the L&CPU Annual Exhibition are also drawn from these same print entries. Therefore be award that if your print is selected for the Folio, it will not be returned until the following year, and if selected for the PAGB competition, it will be retained for 2 years.
