2nd Open Digital Competition (2020/21)

The 2nd Open PDI competition was judged on 19th November via Zoom by John Tilsley ARPS DPAGB APAGB from Dorchester Camera Club. John gave a clear explanation of how he went about assessing and scoring the images, then provided a well paced assessment of each image. One piece of advice he mentioned is to add a thin stripe to the edge of dark images. Whilst we generally discourage borders, this can help define the boundary of an image if the edge is very dark.  The top scoring images are shown in the table below. The featured image for this competition is Female Stonechat by Clare Totty, which was the top placed image in the Beginner’s Group.
