2nd Set Subject Competition (2020/21) – Action

The 2nd Set Subject competition on the subject of Action was judged on 17th December via Zoom by Tony Oliver (ARPS CPAGB BPE4*) from Salisbury Camera Club. He started by laying out what he expected to see in an Action Set Subject – images that capture a sense of movement or activity and that concentrate attention to the area of the image where the action is taking place. He applied these criteria throughout his critique and marking, with commented that he had marked down some otherwise good images for not quite hitting the brief.  The top scoring images are shown in the table below – congratulations to Stuart Cahill whose Breathe is the featured image for this competition.
