The first Set Subject competition of the season was judged on 16th Nov by Martin Pickles of North Cheshire Photographic Society. The competition was in the form of a Knock-Out and Martin gradually whittled down the entry in a series of rounds, explaining why each image was eliminated. By the last round, with only 5 images remaining, Martin then chose
