2nd Set Subject Competition (2018/19) – Triptych

The second Set Subject competition of the 2018/19 season was in the form of a Triptych print competition, and was held on Thursday 18th April, judged by Harry Emmett from Accrington. Harry made a few points about the way that a Triptych should be viewed as a set, which means the layout, mounting and sequence of images in the set must be considered as well as the content of each image. He thought that some entries could have been improved by swapping the sequence of the images, or by reflecting an image from left to right. Also in a few cases, images that were individually strong did not hold together as a set.

Congratulations to Peter Cotton and Dave Biggs who both scored 20pts – Peter with Studying The Pioneer and Dave with War Hand Peace.
