Kirkby Lonsdale Photo Walk

The first Photo Walk of the season took place on Saturday 12 October at Kirkby Lonsdale. The River Lune was fast flowing beneath Devil’s Bridge following the heavy rain of the last few weeks. Fortunately we benefited from a break in the weather and even enjoyed some sunshine. We spread out either side of the bridge and got to work exploring the photographic opportunities. The two hours passed very quickly helped by a canoeist who was riding the rapids and giving us the challenge to get some action shots. We then proceeded to the pub for a drink, food and a chat. Thanks to everyone who took part in the event, it was nice to see new members getting involved.
