The 1st Open Print competition of the season was judged on 29th October by Steve Proctor (MPAGB, BPE5*, EFIAP, PPSA) from Chorley PS. Thee were 62 images to work through and Steve spent a little more time critiquing the Intermediate images compared to those in the Advanced Group. He emphasised the importance of the overall message and feel of an image but also picked up on some technical aspects, such as giving mono images a good range of tones.
