The 2nd Open Print competition of the season was judged on 23rd January by James Hardy (CPAGB, LRPS, AFIAP, Hon LCPU) from Chorley Photographic Society. With 90 images to get through it was quite a long night as James provided good comments on each image, including recommendations on cropping out unnecessary sky and foreground areas and not over-enlarging wildlife images

Read moreThe annual L&CPU Knock-Out competition was held on 16th November at the Elmbank Conference Centre in Eccles, judged by Mike Sharples (ARPS, MPAGB) from Smethwick PS in the Midlands Federation. Each club entered 8 images, however as 35 clubs took part, the number of images entered into the judging was reduced to just 5 images per club, giving 175 images
