Graham Brodie Photoshoot

Throughout the photoshoot, Graham offered some shooting advice, came up with ideas for poses and locations and always ensured he made eye contact with each photographer in turn. The shoot gave a good stock of characters for further development of the images.

Light Trails At Treales

A small group of LSAPS photographers from the Tutorial Group visited a bridge over the M55 on Wednesday evening to photograph light trails. Mainly an exercise in choosing the right shutter speed, whilst controlling the exposure with aperture and ISO settings. When we got fed up with that, we made a quick retreat to the nearest pub.

2019 North Cheshire Challenge

In the Print competition, LSAPS came 5th equal out of 17 clubs, whilst in the PDI competition, LSAPS placed 6th out of 19. Both competitions were won by Chorley PS, however LSAPS scored a notable success when Winter Woollies by Gordon Watson was placed in overall 1st place in the PDI knock-out competition.

2018 Seaside Invitation

The Seaside Invitation is an annual inter-club competition between LSAPS and Southport Photographic Society.  The competition consists of 20 Prints and 20 PDI’s, where each set must be produced by 20 different authors.  This year the competition was hosted by Southport on 10th December. and judged by Jane Lines. 2018 L&CPU Knock-Out Competition

The L&CPU Knock-Out competition was held on 17th November at Poynton Civic Hall.  The competition was won by Poulton-le-Fylde with 16 points, whilst LSAPS finished in joint 14th place with 11 points.  Congratulations to Carol Watson, whose View from the Jetty made it to round 5.
