The 2024 North Cheshire Challenge was held on Saturday 25th May on Zoom, judged by Christine Widdall. The format is a knock-out club competition, with each club entering 5 images. In a knock-out, about 50% of the images are knocked out in a series of round until only a handful remain, at which point the judge chooses an overall winner.

The inter-Club competition against Dublin CC was held on Tuesday 30th April on Zoom, hosted by Dublin. The competition originated when one of the Dublin members was asked to judge our Photoshow 3 years ago, and consists of 25 images from each club, all by different members. The judge for the competition was Rory O’Connor (FIPF, AFIAP) from the Blarney Photography

The annual L&CPU Knock-Out competition was held on 18th November at the Elmbank Conference Centre in Eccles, judged by Simon Allen MPAGB, APAGB, EFIAP from the Scottish Federation. The 2023 4-Way Battle was held on Wednesday 15th November, hosted by North Fylde PS, but held in Poulton. The competition involves LSAPS, Poulton, Garstang and North Fylde, with 20 images being entered from each club. On Thursday 27th April we hosted an inter-Club competition against Dublin CC. This was a return match following a competition hosted last year by Dublin, which Dublin won by just 3 points. It was great to see so many members from both clubs joining in on Zoom and I’m sure all who joined would agree it was an enjoyable evening.
